Established in 2014, Water Tank Solutions Ltd, trading as WTS, is a proudly New Zealand owned and operated business specialising in water and irrigation solutions for rural, residential, lifestyle, equestrian, and commercial properties.
Owned and operated by Mark and Felicity Mehrtens, WTS was built on a practical approach to solving water challenges with reliable systems, quality products, and good service. What began with water storage and filtration has grown into a trusted business delivering complete water management and irrigation projects across Waikato and throughout New Zealand.
Based in Cambridge, we work with homeowners, farmers, developers, schools, equestrian facilities, commercial operators, local and regional councils, and lifestyle block owners to design, supply, install, and maintain systems that are built for New Zealand conditions. We understand that every property is different, which is why we take the time to understand how each site works before recommending the right solution.
Irrigation design and installation is now a major part of the business, with strong experience delivering both residential and large-scale commercial projects. Our work includes lifestyle block irrigation, equestrian facilities, sports turf, landscaping projects, and large infrastructure developments. We provide complete irrigation solutions including design, pumps, filtration, automation, water storage, installation, and project management.
Our focus is always on building systems that are efficient, practical, and reliable long term. We know that good irrigation design is about more than just supplying products. It's about understanding water supply, pressure, coverage, future expansion, ease of operation, and making sure the system performs properly once installed.
Alongside irrigation, we also provide water filtration and treatment systems, pumps and reticulation, water storage, tank cleaning, water testing, servicing, and maintenance. Whether it's improving drinking water quality, fixing water pressure issues, or delivering complex irrigation infrastructure, we aim to provide solutions that work properly and continue to perform for years to come.
